There is no application to be submitted to be a supporter. A letter of support would suffice. The letter of support must include the following information:
-
Your identity as the visa applicant and any family members accompanying you.
-
The length of your stay and the resources made available for the visa application
-
The type of work that you will undertake, your duties, and your place of work.
-
The letter should have the organization’s letterhead if there is one.
Sponsorship
An application should be submitted to become an approved sponsor.
Your sponsor will be asked to provide evidence to support their application.
Among various requirements, evidence can be documents to show that your sponsor is lawfully operating in Australia and documents to show that your sponsor is capable of meeting obligations.
Sponsorship approval is valid for 5 years from the day it is granted. Your employer can choose to renew it before their current sponsorship expires.
