Occupational training types

There are three occupational training types for the SC 407 visa for which you will qualify depending on the kind of training you are looking for.

Occupational training required for registration - This scheme is specific to trainees who are seeking to obtain occupational registration, membership, or licensing in Australia.
Occupational training to improve skills in an eligible occupation - This is particularly for individuals who have an occupation in the skilled occupation list.
Occupational training for capacity building overseas -
- Overseas qualification- Structured workplace training for up to six months in Australia
- Government support-Structured occupational training in the workplace that has the support of Australian government body or an overseas government
